Michael’s professional journey commenced in 1983 as a London police officer, where he represented the United Kingdom as a marksman with the British national team, earning the prestigious title of British Police Champion Marksman in 1986. His career trajectory led him to esteemed institutions such as Swiss Bank Corporation and Goldman Sachs, where he held significant roles in Equity Capital Markets and Convertible Trading and Sales Department, respectively. Michael’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found the foreign exchange trading hedge fund, Elysium Capital, and subsequently, he assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer and head of the investment committee of Robeco Sage, a multibillion-dollar fund of hedge funds. In 2010, he was appointed Chief Investment Officer of the Cornell University endowment, further solidifying his reputation as a leading expert in the financial industry. Later, in 2012, he became a Managing Director at the Raptor Group, a distinguished single-family office based out of Boston and New York City.
